OnePlus has formally declared the unveiling of its forthcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12. Set to be launched on December 4 in Shenzhen, China, this event signifies the company’s 10th-anniversary celebration.

The OnePlus 12 is rumored to feature a 6.82-inch X1 “Oriental” LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,168 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. This cutting-edge display is reportedly a collaborative effort between BOE and OnePlus. Additionally, the smartphone will introduce its inaugural imaging engine chip, the Display P1.

Powering the OnePlus 12 will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, as confirmed by both companies. This chipset incorporates the Kryo CPU, consisting of five gold cores and a novel 1-5-2 microarchitecture. It brings a 30% enhancement in performance and a 20% increase in power efficiency.
